CAPITALISM, as a socio-economic system, is born of fear and ignorance and needs fear and ignorance to thrive.

??? How to guide conventional realities in such a way as to gain a secure realization of world reconciliation, peace and prosperity!
!!! Ultimate Reality: consciousness, mental formations, material phenomena, nibbana
Premier Asset: Enlightenment
Debit: Ignorance
Transcendant Vehicles: Compassion / Meditation
ECONOMIC APPLICATION
Given: Ultimate individual worth is beyond conventional value.
Needed: Alternative equitable currency that allows every human to afford life's necessities throughout that individual's life.
Proposed: That each human being be granted virtual (or physical), lifetime, possession of one coin of compassionate worth, or "comp" in the vernacular, of negotiable value set by current market conditions / cost of production, cost of raw materials, cost of transportation, quality costs / actually very similar to present business dynamics.
Common protocol in such dual currency trading would accord value to producer for "comp" transactions of record, for limited use in tax and philanthropic applications.
"Comp" value appreciation would be geometric in scope, increasing Global worth, yet generating a trend toward real valuation of product, no inflation of currency and societal conservation. Finally, no other currency would be needed! So much better than past and present execution of the circus of nations!
<< Man is the only animal that deals in that atrocity of atrocities, War. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and calm pulse to exterminate his kind. He is the only animal that for sordid wages will march out... and help to slaughter strangers of his own species who have done him no harm and with whom he has no quarrel.... And in the intervals between campaigns he washes the blood off his hands and works for "the universal brotherhood of man" - with his mouth: Mark Twain

"The lowest standards of ethics of which a right-thinking man can possibly conceive is taught to the common soldier whose trade is to shoot his fellow men. In youth he may have learned the command, 'Thou shalt not kill,' but the ruler takes the boy just as he enters manhood and teaches him that his highest duty is to shoot a bullet through his neighbor's heart - and this, unmoved by passion or feeling or hatred, and without the least regard to right or wrong, but simply because his ruler gives the word." Clarence Darrow, Resist Not Evil
>---The one who thinks himself equal or inferior or superior to others is, by that very reason, involved in argument. But such thoughts as equal, inferior, and superior are not there in the one who is not moved by such measurements.
Why should a wise person argue with another, saying: "This is a truth" and "This is a lie"? If such a one never entertains a thought about equal, inferior, or superior, with whom is he going to argue?
The sage who has freed himself from dependence on others and from dependence on words and is no longer attached to knowledge does not risk the smothering of truth by engaging in disputes with people.

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Always give a word or sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, or even a stranger, if in a lonely place. Show respect to all people, but grovel to none. When you rise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life, for your strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason to give thanks, the fault lies in yourself.
Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home." by: Tecumseh -(1768-1813) Shawnee Chief
"Who is wise? He that learns from everyone. - Who is powerful? He that governs his passions. - Who is rich? He that is content. - Who is that?" Nobody. Benjamin Franklin
"It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder." -Albert Einstein

We cannot have peace if we are only concerned with peace. War is not an accident. It is the logical outcome of a certain way of life. If we want to attack war, we have to attack that way of life: A. J. Muste
>>A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means." --Thomas Jefferson to John Colvin, 1810

While cleaning fish yesterday, from the latest catch of our four sail- and oar-powered boats, a question that had been bothering me for years was answered. Meditation has become such an important part of my life that it is always there, bubbling if you will, just beneath the surface, no formality to it at all. Without conscious attention or direction, the query that why, in a logically ordered, causally influenced system as ours, there seems to be little or no guidance or instruction as might be expected from the high level of complexity empirically suggested by the design? was answered: 'THERE IS'; 'THROUGH ZEN (meditation), or vipassana, insightful meditation, as taught by Buddha.
found at CONTRIBUTION, cont.,20 The greatest country, the richest country, is not that which has the most capitalists, monopolists, immense grabbings, vast fortunes, with its sad, sad soil of extreme, degrading, damning poverty, but the land in which there are the most homesteads, freeholds-where wealth does not show such contrasts high and low, where all men have enough-a modest living-and no man is made possessor beyond the sane and beautiful necessities.": Walt Whitman (1819-1892):

found at Contribution continued (28) "If the world is to be saved, men must learn to be noble without being cruel, to be filled with faith and yet open to truth, to be inspired by great purposes without hating those who try to thwart them. But before this can happen, men must first face the terrible realisation that the gods before whom they have bowed down were false gods and the sacrifices they have made were vain."
'Why Men Fight: A Method Of Abolishing The International Duel', Bertrand Russell 1916
The Gardener(24)
The sun-favored island lay in the splendour of the gulf as the gentle breeze caressed the lawns and swaying palms, impressing its soothing music on the salt waters of the cove and riffling the bleached hair of the tanned naked workingman as he made his way along the path to the nurseries, absorbed in his job, indifferent to the pleasantness surrounding him, feeling neither good nor bad nor neutral, contemplating the effect his report on the status of the plants in progress would have on his masters. Yes, he considered easily, his masters, for slavery still existed in this quiet, comfortable land of the south; every one was a master and every one a slave. Although this was one of the worlds inhabitated by gods and goddesses, as dimly perceived by our Buddha in 500 b.c.e., the more complete understanding of this far-flung expanse of space and its metaphysical implications inspired serious application of intellect toward meeting the suggested standards of galactic evolution.
The longer life continues, the more information integrated by this aggregate, the greater trust in the words of the Buddha is realized; that all the many problems of the populations of the world have in truth one cause: ignorance and concommittant fear.
metaphysical connection between love, (defined as the personal recognition of potential benefit to be gained or shared in respect to a person or object or concept), and enlightenment and concommittant awareness shall be examined
It has been suggested to this writer that America's errors in the realm of foreign policy are: which of our many powers to use and how we should apply them. The U.S of A. is like a drug addict or an alcoholic; until this singular country presents itself before a regulator consisting of all the other nations of the world and asks humbly for aid in the distribution of our plentiful food, wealth and technologies to a world in need, our advantages will become disadvantages and our multitudes will decrease.
Support of terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda, Taliban, USA, Israel, Britain, Hezbollah, etc. is assured by a vote for the Republican party or the Democratic party. So let's vote GREEN PARTY.
Legacy for George Bush: Add USA to "Axis of evil", along with any other nation that exports terrorism and the weapons used in achieving terror.

20) "We kill at every step, not only in wars, riots, and executions. We kill when we close our eyes to poverty, suffering, and shame. In the same way all disrespect for life, all hard-heartedness, all indifference, all contempt is nothing else than killing. With just a little witty skepticism we can kill a good deal of the future in a young person. Life is waiting everywhere, the future is flowering everywhere, but we only see a small part of it and step on much of it with our feet.": Hermann Hesse
