Logo: 'HEART': THIRTY-FIVE FOOT CORONADO SLOOP THAT I OWN

NEW 3

Ryokan, Japanese Zen monk (1758-1831)

Without desire everything is sufficient,
With seeking myriad things are impoverished,
Plain vegetables can soothe hunger,
A patched robe is enough to cover this bent old body,
Alone I hike with a deer,
Cheerfully I sing with village children,
The stream beneath the cliff cleanses my ears,
The pine on the mountain top fits my heart,

Buddha Nature is said to be unimaginable; however, given that the human realm, with it's many pleasureable attachments, is an instructional world for buddhas and bhodissatvas, let us take that for a license of sorts and imagine a matrix of beings that is infinite in space and time and Karmic register: found at Buddha's Teachings Applied

May all beings find the path of enlightenment and let no being leave the path of enlightenment, as that is their true nature and empty of self-existence.

The Martial Law Act of 2006

By James Bovard

Martial law is perhaps the ultimate stomping of freedom. And yet, on September 30, 2006, Congress passed a provision in a 591-page bill that will make it easy for President Bush to impose martial law in response to a terrorist "incident." It also empowers him to effectively declare martial law in response to what he or other federal officials label a shortfall of "public order" - whatever that means.

FELICITY

One goal in life that will not fade away,
A goal that is greater at the end of day,
Purify your mind, Practice Compassion,
Abide in Enlightenment, with mindfulness,
Share Compassion with all things,

Student asks teacher, what goal is that, dear sir?,
That I might surely, with hard work, attain,
The goal, my fellow traveler, is understanding ‘No Goal’,
And the work, the way, is understanding ‘No Way’,
Be at Peace, Purify your mind,

And may peace be with you, my teacher,
Yet, good sir, how may I understand ‘No Goal’ ?,
Truly, in peacefulness, Purify your mind,
Yet, good sir, how may I understand ‘No Way’ ?,
Truly, in peacefulness, Practice Compassion,

And may peace be with you, my teacher,
Yet, good sir, how may I Purify my mind ?,
Truly, in peacefulness, Practice Compassion,
Yet, good sir, how may I Practice Compassion ?,
Be at Peace, Purify your mind,

Unity

We are the sun,
We are the moon,
We are the stars,
We are the depths of space,
Always,

We have been,
And will be,
These delusions,
Always,

How could we,
Desire for more?,
Ever,

Except to discover,
Unity,
